Wat does red mean in the spreadsheet? That it's a routinely calibrated meter or something?

I highlighted the text red for the readings with the Andover Holography LPM-1 meter, because the readings for the blu-ray were taken on the 473nm setting. That meter does not have a setting for 405nm.

It seems to be fine for it's calibrated wavelengths, but not for blu-ray. I figured that it wouldn't hurt to have the information in there...

P.S. Some people have not uploaded their measurements. Please do, so we can all have this information for reference...

Got ze lazors today [smiley=cool.gif]

They're warming up now (are about 62F, currently), but I hope to get some measurements tonight.

Also, that box and the anti-static bags are pretty beat, so I'm going to replace them.  I actually have the same exact DigiKey box, so it'll look like new now!   :D

Testing complete!

see here

Off to DrLava!

BTW, as I mentioned, I put everything in a new box (same box, really), and added a little extra padding. Now, there's plenty more room for labels :D

Preciate the upgrade in box and antistatic bags.  The bags weren't necessary but a nice touch.   That box woulda made it all the way around the world I promise~!  hehe.  Looks like everything is in order.  Moving along nice and smoothly.

Did they look sturdy enough for ya rkcstr?? The lasers that is not the tripod. heh

Last I heard, lava has specifically gone to the trouble to calibrate his power meter specifically for this.

:'( ;)
I thought to do the same - but for a moment, that box with all our address labels on it seemed to hold a story of sorts, so I passed it on. Good to see that it got into the hands of a realist, and got dealt with!

haha, yeah... I thought about it being cool to have all the signs of where its been, but with recent Postal regulations, they usually want you to rip off any old visible labels before shipping, plus there wasn't much room left either... or I could have turned it inside-out  ;D

looked good ;)

also, the heatsinks looked a little "loose" in there, didn't know if that was normal. By loose, I just mean they rattled a little bit, but nothing was falling off or coming apart.

YEah, they are supposed to be loose. It's the mounting to the bottom of the unit that keeps them from falling out. Since I only had the heatsinks that I was making which were just a collar to go around the aixiz module, it was better than nothing. And it makes it look good.

Cool, just making sure ;)

They do look nice! Smaller than I imagined too.
