That's an excellent host for a blu-ray if you are using a boost circuit, such as the FlexDrive!

If you haven't seen my 'Pocket Pal' host, take a look here:

nah im usin the ddl circuit for now but ive already ordered 2 more of the flexdrives and im waitin on dx to ship my order before i have the other host. jay the custom sinks i contacted you about are going to be for the new hosts i have on the way.

p.s. jay that pocket pal build is very nice looking. the new hosts i ordered i tried to keep as small as possible whil still gettin the voltage necessary. i bought 3 different hosts for blu ray and 2 nice hosts for the 22x reds.

I also build them in the 5W Luxeon Lumiled 3-AAA MXDL, but I didn't have one on hand.

I've stopped using the longer hosts. I like: no NEED, the three AAA carriage to get the voltage I need for my higher powered units. I hate trying to make the flexdrive skinny enough to fit into a pen.

Peace,

Why, Thank you. I love you too :-*

Using the Sonar would be popularizing someone else's product. Mine are much better. Why would I want people to think that WL could build a blu-ray as powerful as I make them?

The title of the thread is "post your blu-ray hosts"

I have built lasers in all of those types of hosts. Only five of those are operating lasers right now and one of them is for sale (the "lonely" blu-ray). The rest are hosts waiting for me to want to do another one. I have a tendency to "play" with new hosts rather than building more of the same, but some of them are just too cool not to use multiple times.

Right now I'm working on putting a 22X (LG) red into an MXDL (5W Super Bright) host. The Jayrob heat sink just makes it too easy ;) I'm going to push this one a bit. I want that massive Jayrob heat sink for it. After I get it done, I'll probably sell it. It is just an interesting experiment.

Peace,
dave
