Is there a tutorial on doing this procedure. If not, how do you do it? What diameter should you drill out the hole to be?

Thanks

It's glued in there. And once I pop out the lens cover, what do I do to get the lens out? (It's probably also glued in there.)

Additionally, how do I get a new lens back in there and the lens cover back on?

To open the hole, I cut little slits outward from the hole, making little "reverse flower petals". If the petals are thin enough, then just take a tiny screwdriver and bend the petals outwards, and they will crack and break off. Just make sure to only use the very tip of the exacto or utility knife to make sure and not scratch the lens.

I can draw a picture later if that doesn't make sense.

The last two shipments of modules I got from aiXiz had lenses with the rear aperture already opened :)

Although almost everything I build now uses a 405-G-1 or a 605-G-1. AiXiz finally changes it and I don't use 'em any more :(

Peace,

hmm i think my method is the easiest and safest to do interms of either stabbing your self or trying not to scratch the lense

I always take a sharp knife and just cut the plastic out with tip of the knife, it's move similar to peeling potato. It takes about 20 seconds to do that, I don't get whats the problem

I use a pair of micro pliers with really tiny tips, grab onto the plastic and just literally peel the plastic out like peeling an orange. It removes the plastic but still leaves the nut in place.
