I am going to make a Blu-ray laser using the UltraFire c1 as the host.

Diode will be this

I will be using a single 18650 battery
I will also be using a Lava driver v4

I am currently designing a heat sink that should fit perfectly in that Host and will be able to cover the entire module.
Here is a little bit of a crappy drawing I made.

I will have my first one made in about 1 to 2 weeks.

I am not looking to sell these heat sinks, but if they do turn out to be nice, I may be willing to give out all of the dimensions or I guess, sell a few, if people are interested.

The reason why I chose to use the C1 as my host was because of it's ample space to house a large heat sink.  I am getting tired of these small hosts that I have been playing around with.  This host is rather hefty and they build quallity of it is great.  Plus, it has a clip on the side.

Well, I will let you know how it turns out, in about a week or so, not that anyone cares. :)
Later,
Heath

Just a quick update for anyone interested.

I am now in the process of making the heat sink. This is going to be setup as a drop in for the flashlight. So, I will be able to switch from a red laser, to a blue laser in a matter of 10 to 30 seconds. I hope this turns out great!!
