Steamed up? You'll have to take the lens out and let it airdry. And I'd quit putting it underwater... there has to be a very light leak that allows something to get in there and the heat causes it to evaporate thusly steaming your lens. It's also feasible it could just be air condensation but I wouldn't chance it.
