O-like 10/100/150mw very similar. Chance of same diode?

Yes, this is my first post... Please be kind.:)

I've been looking at the specs for the o-like 405nm lasers, and they seem very similar.

10mw
100mw
150mw

They all have the same host, all the same batteries, and the same specs, apart from mW output.

Dimension:φ13*130mm
Output Power:10mW
Wave Length:405nm
Working Mode:CW
Operating Current:I<180mA
Operating Voltage:3.0V=2*AAA batteries
Operating Temperature:-10℃~+50℃
Storage Temperature:-20℃~+60℃
Expected Lifetime:>5000hours
Siver chrome appearance .

Except the output, that's the same for them all. Now, I know that a PHR costs about $25 from a cheap place, so I could probably assume o-like could buy a similar diode a little cheaper.

However, what's the possibility that they're all the same diode? I don't know much about blu-ray lasers and the associated prices for different powers, could they have just adjusted the power output from the driver circuit for each one?

If not, they're at least the same driver circuit.

Regards,
Will

P.S. I've ordered an o-like 10mw blu, tail cap came yesterday, and I heard o-likes are often overspec. How much so?

No, they are not the same diode. F.ex the 150mW has a strange ellipic shaped diode.

Thanks for the clarification.:) Also good to know o-like gives nice prices throughout the power range. Still cheaper to build one yourself though. I need to learn to solder...
