Is this normal for a blu ray?

PHR 803t driven with the lava flex drive. When I turn it on there is about 0.25 seconds before the laser starts to lase. Is this normal or a bad sign?

It is normal. The flexdrivve has a delay on first start up after a rest. Read the PDF file from his website.

It's better for the laser. It takes less of a jolt when it doesn't start up from 0-100% in no time at all.
