Hi guys, Susie and I are talking about their New product.

The New Blue Ray Laser will be out in the market by October 07 2009 and here are the promising results..

Good look, Focusable, 150mw and cheaper than other blue ray products they have.

Susie told me that there are no pictures available yet, but lets wait for this thing.

we all know o-like has quality...

so lets wait and see..

The 150mW claim does make me a little nervous because the laser diodes we use today that are capable of 150mW are pretty expensive, the 4x and 6x are around $50 a pop. I'm also curious to see what host this is in. I wonder if the BR manufacturers are using the same laser diode as the one from the PHR sled...

I would guess O-like is using the same diode as the one in the sled they sell for $30. Thinking the host+driver is about $20, they are easily making a profit.

Operating Current:I<180mA
Operating Voltage:3.0V=2*AAA batteries

I'm guessing its using something similar to a rayfoss driver.

It actually looks decent. Probably a 4x

Way overpriced though. No more than $50 in parts.

Members sell similarly powered BR lasers on here for about the same price so stop complaining.

Just because the prices here are low doesn't mean that this one from o-like are overpriced. These are actually professionally manufactured unlike the home builds here, they are entiled to profit just like any one else. Good luck finding a professionally manufactured 150mW violet for much less than this one.

Anyway, the design looks pretty cool and it is new, I wonder what company manufactures these.

IMO most of the builds here are way better than most of the chinese lasers >.>
