ok hey guys.. I have started a thread ages ago, but never got a straight answer... ok I have all the parts for my laser ready to go.. how do I wire all the parts together? do I have to make a jump with the ground pin on the diode?? do I just solder the wires from the positive pin to the driver and the same for the negative?? where do i put my momentary switch.. from positive batery terminal to driver or on negative....

Any thing else I have to know before i start soldering??????

Thanks in advance!! - Adrian

Aixiz module on left, then driver (110ma Flexdrive), then momentary switch then battery holders

Man.... by your question I can see that you have done absolutely no research
on the Forum at all...

It has only been 3 weeks ago that you asked a similar question and then again
1 week ago that members replied to... NOT ages ago.....

All the answers to putting your Blu-Ray build together has been posted on the
Forum umpteen times already...

Use The [Search ] button and help yourself..

Spoon feeding is for children....

I'll give you a starter hint....

1) attach the laser module to the driver
2) attach the driver to the batteries through the switch

For details.... research the Forum...

Pretty simple, solder + pin on diode to + on driver same with - then get the + and solder it to the switch and solder a wire onto the other pin and then connect the + wire from the switch to the battery holders + and wire the - from the driver to the - of the battery holders.

Oh and with the wires
Black = -
Red = +

Thats all you need to know.

*disclaimer*- opinion

You will be very disappointed with your build if you half-ass it and don't do any research. Half the point of building a laser is the DiY part, which is so much fun!

How are you sure that driver is set to 110mA? Did you dummy-load test it? Buying pre-set drives is ok but they should always be tested before using on a real diode. It would suck if your supplier got 2 drives mixed up and sent you a 300mA driver which would eat that PHR-803T in a second. Look, no one here wants to see you waste your money or be upset with your build. They do although, want you to do the research for yourself and not to expect everything to be laid out for you.
