Hi, i need help form pro-laser owners, and those who has good experience.
I am looking for a high power laser, and with high power i mean a laser that burns! I have been looking around, and i have come up with a 445nm 2w laser, but i just have to find the right one. I have found these 2 lasers, but i don't know who i should buy!

1000mW-2000mW 450nm Focusable Blue Laser Pointer + Safety Goggles (Black)

445nm 2W Ultra Powerful Blue laserpointer Burning laser with laser sword - $139.00 : Laser Pointer,Green laser,Blue laser, Red laser,Buy Laser Pointers,Cheap laser pointer

So guys, what laser is the best one? The one that burns best? Or do you have some other lasers out there with the same power at the same price? Max $130.

Thanks!

Please do not post the same thread more than once. There is no point to having two threads open with the same topic.

Lol I just finished typing a reply for the other one not knowing there were two. Clicked "submit reply" and didn't work .

Anyways, I would not recommend lasers from freemascot or lucklaser AT ALL. You will most likely end up with low quality lasers that are severely under spec. (much lower power than rated on the sites).

The best lasers from Hong Kong include companies like Laserbtb/Skylasers, Dragonlasers and Jetlasers.
You can get a 1w blue laser from Laserbtb for $101 and a 2w laser for around $198-$214.

Also, many here recommend Sci-FiLasers.com (Located in Israel).
If you don't mind flashlight hosts, you could buy a 2w-2.4w laser for $145.
Just make sure you avoid the typical Chinese resellers that sell pages full of junk for way too much $$$.

Hope this helps and I am glad you came to the forum before buying!
And make sure you get some nice laser safety glasses if you don't already own some :yh:

P.S. If you search the forums, there are tons of good reviews on lasers from Laserbtb, Sci-fiLasers, Dragonlasers, Laserglow, Jetlasers, and more reviews on lasers built by forum members as well!

The safety glasses included with those lasers will not protect you one bit. You will have to drop another 40 dollars or more if you want to keep your vision.

Also don't buy from those cheap Chinese sites, they are terrible.

Thank you so much for your help, i will reconsider my choices and look on those sites you recomended :D

But is there a big difference between 1w and 2w? Does the 2w burn better, and is it worth it? I'm really looking for the most powerfull laser, so i think i will go for 2w. Do you think the 2w-2.4w laser for $145 on Sci-FiLasers.com are good enough for me?

You only need around 100mW to burn, light matches and pop balloons. And yes, 1000mW/1w is a TON more power to play with. My 1w blue laser burns or engraves just about any material that isn't metal. But a 2w would burn things a whole lot faster.
My 1w burns through black CD cases in around 5-6 seconds when unfocused and 3 seconds when focused for burning. Played with plastic wielding too :yh:

So 1w of laser is a plenty enough power for me anyways. But its up to you!
And on safety glasses, some say to themselves, "I won't need that safety junk for my laser, I'll just be careful!" But even if you don't have the beam cross your eyes, a 1w laser produces so much energy that it can damage your eyes from prolonged exposure to just LOOKING at the dot.

Anyway, have fun laser shopping and let us know what you decide on!

a 2w laser would drain the batteries pretty quick, i think even my 1w is crazy powerful hungry on batteries and i dont see the point having more then 1w its so crazy poweful already..
