My new 405

I just finished building a 12x labby. I made a dual lm317 driver circuit board that powers the diode as well as the display. It has a Blue lcd ammeter. The current is adjusted via a 10turn precision pot.


The internals.

The heat sink is made out of an aluminum block, press in diode. It supports lenses with the 9mm .5 housing.

That's my first time etching a circuit board. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Now I need to save up and get a lpm.

Nice work! Very clean. I especially like the LCD ammeter that's onboard. Oh, and nice job on the first etch... :gj:

Nice... I haven't gotten around to playing with a tec yet. It's on my "to-do" list (right alongside a scanner project and a white fusion build)

There are far too many different laser related projects to keep up with.:beer:
