Hey LPF ! Well just a couple days ago I finished my very first red laser and today I decided to post my first blu ray as well ! It's a GGW at ~180mA used an Ultrafire WF-501C from DX as a host, custom heatsink, rkcstr driver, and one of jayrobs 405-G-1 lenses.

Let me know what you guys think !

It's set to 190mA. After doing some reading around the forums I decided that 190mA was the norm for a GGW. I'm not sure the mW because I have yet to buy a laserbee LPM (hopefully soon!)

Very nice host aswell I wish I could build a laser like this :P
 
How do you focus the lense if its housed inside the heatsink ?
Or did you just set it to a certain focus point?

that's where I get a -1 for practicality haha I have to physically take everythig apart adjust it an put it back in. I considered this when building it but I went for asthetics instead of easy of use. Haha.

not physically .. I wanted to but no longer have a lathe.. So I got the dimensions from the flashlight and made an AutoCAD 3D and 2D technical drawing and gave it to a machinist I found around my house through google haha.
