Maybe you should cheap out on the tires and buy an 8X. I think i spent $500 for all 4 of mine. Unless you are driving a truck or racecar.

Haha Dave, you should raise the current on you 512mW 8x to 450ma, I wonder what it would be doing then?:eg: And with the 12x's being somewhat more efficient I'd like to see one of them at 500ma with a jayrob lens. Again, I think we really underestimate the endurance of blu ray diodes, as shown by at least one murder test.

My Final measurement with the flex V4 @ 410mA is 564mw.

Died at 360mA?! is that the lowest recorded current that one of these has died at? I am planning on building another but maybe I will be a bit more conservative.
