Hello! :D

I want to show my little 150mW Blu-Ray laser. It contains acrylic lens and custom made heatsinking collimator. It was made from cheap OEM flashlight bought in builder shop. I snipped out the Blu-Ray logo in the flashlight with razor-blade. It's powered by 3xAAA 1,5V batteries and driver is modded inverter called "Joule Thief" - it boosts the voltage from 3 AAA's to voltage suitable for 405nm diode. This driver is pulsed.
Here is video off my laser pointer: Blu-Ray Laser from 6x GGW-H20L burner - YouTube

Looks cool! Good job! I like the logo - very creative.
How is the front designed? Is it able to be focused or is it fixed focus?

The laser can be focused with 3 screws. This host is made out of aluminium and glow-in-the-dark rubber layer which covers the aluminium host.

Thanks for comment :p

PS. Please watch my video with this laser in action :D
