Anyone play with lightsribe discs? 100mW of 405 is like a fountain pen! ;D

Yer, I had one to throw out once so gave it a go, I think they use 780nm in the drive to write on it, but as you've discovered it doesn't really seem to matter.

receipt paper, or I guess any heat printer paper works just about the same as the lightscribe!
I tried it on a lightscribe and noticed I was melting the cd, so don't try it on one w/ anything on it.
