Lazerer Rifle 1.5 W question

I saw in the lazerer store that they sell empty laser shells with a lock (a key's lock) as a safety measure. I am about to order a 1.5 watt blue rifle but wanted to know if I could move the insides from the original shell to the one with the key since I am extremely worried for any accidents.

Edit:
Would you recommend me this laser or should I go for a different one or a different seller?

If safety is important to you, you should probably consider just picking a laser that has a lock from the get-go. Transplanting the parts seems like it would be a waste of time/money when there are models that come with it already, as well as the option to build one with your own driver/diode choice using the empty host they offer. Consider looking in the buy/sell/trade board for some custom lasers with lockable hosts, or pick up the parts to go with the empty host and assemble one yourself.
