I promised myself I would never start a new thread but I couldn't resist. I just bought my LG bluray burner from Newegg. And it SMELLS great! I plan on opening it up tomorrow and sending it to daguin to be my new module. I am so excited to take apart a brand new BluRay Burner and I easily came over my first "stabbed in the Heart" reaction to the thought of opening it up.

Does anyone know if a cheaper laser diode could put in it?

No no I wanted to use it for its purpose. It just looks so nice to throw the rest away

Actually he just insulted you again. He implied that you might be inclined to try to rip the store off by switching diodes and returning the drive for a refund or replacement

Was he even here when Tyler and Louis admitted doing this?

I think we need an IP check ;)

Good Idea on the IP Check.

I just wanted to make use of the shell. Id never return it and be dishonest like that. Id never do that to even walmart for that matter

No it shows me how much I do read. If you still want I would be glad to show you the thread where IgorT denies a freebee. All you have to do is apologize.

So yeah this BluRay burner looks so nice I think Ill get myself a 6x and put it in so I can still have a bluray burner. I just love the way it looks.

So that is Arena Red huh. I thought so... alot of people thought I was him but they later decided that Arenared didn't even know what proper grammar was :crackup:

Why thats criminal behavior ... and Darkarmy of One did as well? Geez. I almost bought something from DAOO. But thanks to my asking questions and from someone else (I dont think he wants to be known) saved me from making that mistake.

Its always good to ask questions when you buy from someone

The whole thing about Darkarmyof one was a sarcastic comment towards daguin who bashed darkarmyofone on his 20.00 build thread,
i bashed modwerx because ndrew talked shit to me on the previous thread,
i praised eghemus' hosts becuase they look cool and they are made from what looks too be ALL ALUMINUM!!
i never said igors builds are too expensive.. i dont even know how much they cost, and yes 8x's are expensive!!

I know! But with the auto repairs I have to wait a few weeks to get the host from JayRob. Man I can't wait to own a 350+mw Violet Laser. I think I might use one of those on the Space Ship model I'm working on. Put a module right in the saucer section

Can we put a PHR diode inside the drive ??

So that we can, you know, USE IT as a bluray drive??? lol
