increase the output power?

i purchased a 20-30mw 1 watt mxdl design blu ray from jake21 on ebay recently and i was wondering is there a way to make it stronger. he claims its a 803T. all the dirty work of soldering wires to the diode is done for me which is great. what can i do to make stronger?

find out from jake21 what the current is set to.... then make 100% sure that it is the phr-803T diode, and increase current accordingly. I'm not sure if its a potentiometer or a fixed resistor setup, but if its a pot all you need to do is rotate it while keeping a very close eye on the current. If its a fixed resistor, calculate the resistance you need for the current you want using ohms law.

Rebuild it with a stronger driver, heat sink it effectively, and get it into a metal host.
