ok just wanted to make sure i already order the batteries last night the 14500 batteries and a charger so in a sence an estimate time of ove 1 hour is prety good now that i think of it and i bought 2 batteries so if one dies i can throw it in the charger and put the fully charged one in....

Hey everyone i just want to thank everyone that helped me on this i just finished my first build with the PHR-803T diode i am waiting for a host to com in the mail to put it in... because right now its just the inner parts and very fragile,ive tried lighting matches and plastic and it lights a match farly fast and burns plastic almost instent..... iam so happy now that this is some what complete i feel like iam hooked:crackup:

I will post some pics as soon as i get the host in and i complete all of it....

so thank you to all that helped me......

Welcome to the "I didn't burn my first diode" club, we are not so many in here :crackup:

However don't think it's all safe now, we all have burned lots of diodes, and you don't want this to happen with the 12x xD

thanks - Hallucynogenyc yes i agree its not all safe now iam am very carefull also i have orderd another PHR-803T sled to have when and if this first build diode "FRIES":crackup: But even though i know i have another PHR-803T sled on tghe way i am still going to be very carefull with this one...because even though its cheap it is still money you know......

So this is pretty much everything i have order this week i want to also order a standard LaserBee I meter but cant offered it right now but i will as soon as i get some money.....

If by that statement you mean you are going to attempt to build your own safety goggles,

*DON'T*

Your eye sight is worth more than $25, don't skimp on safety and opt for a cheaper alternative.

If that's not what your implying I apologize, here are some goggles I would recommend and have been great for me, block violet all the way up-to green:

Laser Glasses - UV to Green Lasers Protection 190-548nm :: Laser Safety :: Dragon Lasers

wow i was going to build my own because the ones that i was finding were for like $50 dollars but now that you should me these there about the same price i would have paid to built my own.....when i get the clear glass in from home depot iam going to return them at the store and not even bothe going to get the red film from a local dj place iam going to get these thanks alot.......

BUT IF YOU LOOK AT IT THIS WAY I WOULD RATHER HAVE ALL YOUR LASERS. HAHA

I just had some money put aside for the year,every pay check i put some money a side and at the end of the year iam suprised on how much ive put aside....because i figured if i keeped it with me i would spend it on stupid stuff...you know???

BUT THIS IS ALL WORTH IT!!!!!

If you count up all the money you spent on your lasers this is a fraction on what you spent on those nice laser:yh:

hey guys heres a video of my first laser build what i did was is i took the host build that JayRob did for me and removed the pill that he install my flexdrive v5 at 300mA in because this host was made for my 12x build!!!!iam waiting for my host from DX to come in that i am going to put this build in but in the mean time i put in it in this host intill my other host comes in to put it in the right place(I could not wait iam so hooked on lasers now:crackup well let me know what you guys think of it..???

Well, first host the pictures somewhere like imageshack.us and then click on the image icon in the reply box, paste the url of the pic there and voila!

Make sure that you're posting the url of the image itself and not the url of the page that hosts the image, it's a common error with imageshack
