I was at my local hardware store and found this cool little LED flashlight. Upon closer inspection I notice that it resembles the mohrenberg BR host I just modified. I bought it and took it home and was surprised how easy it was to replace the LED, reflector, and and lens with the module from my BR laser. I paid $10 for mine and found some on FeeBay for $12 shipped. Here are some pics of it below with the module. And yes, it has a gitd rear clicky. :D

Looks like you had to extend the module out a little to make it fit, or did you just do that to make it easier to focus?

Great job! I have a few of these Nebo flashlights . I think it will make a great host for a laser, It has a solid feel to it, it runs off of 3XAAA's = 4.5volts,this will most likely be my next build ...

Keep the builds coming.... I know I will.

I had to push it out to allow it to fit with the batteries, but it did make it alot easier to adjust the focus. Im using it with the jayrob 402-G-1 lens :)

The one I got uses 1 AA battery which is just a bit shorter than 2 CR2's. But Im gonna keep looking for a new host. I bought a PHR module from mo, and Im gonna try to make a custom heatsink for it.

Mine was incredibly easy to remove the lens. I just pressed down on the lens with a piece on wooden dowel rod, and the whole assemble fell right out.

I really like the color of that flashlight, although the rubberzied section in the middle does look alittle strange to me with the bumps

Thanks for that-better to ask than find out I did it the hard way-BTW anyone with leftover parts from LED flashlights--ColdStl may want them-PM him if you are not going to do anything with them. have a happy all--Hak
