sorry for the double post, I am having trouble figuring out how to post using imageshack.

This pic shows the slight difference in color between the SF-AW210 and PHR.
The PHR looks more vibrant to me. Im too chicken to push the SF-AW210 any harder  :-/

You got some nice beam shots there! :)

It's hard to judge with other beams in the picture... Sometimes the camera will record colors differently depending on surrounding colors. (guessing) I believe this from looking at your 1st picture. In that one, the two violet beams look very similar.

Maybe see how they compare with only the two violet builds side by side??
Jay

P.S. Comparing violet, here's three different diodes all together. (PHR, 6X, and AW-210)

Just had the SF-AW210 metered on a laserbee, it showed 233mW (200mA rkcstr, and aixiz acrylic). I will take another pic soon  ;) First I need to save up for one of your lens mods!

Another 'HOT' one! Did you get your sled or diode from jake21 by chance?

I got it from lsp. It was in perfect condition, two of three were in fact.

edit: When I saw your initial results, Jay, I couldn't help but order them. I don't have a 6X and wanted a powerful 405nm like the one in your pic. Now I really want one of your lens mods!

I got some of these in a trade, so I wasn't afraid to push it... I turned it up to ~290-300mA. Got 350mW  [smiley=evil.gif]

Don't know how long it will last and I've only had a few minutes on it, but it's fun to see such a huge amount of blu-ray power :D

i never got to test this set before selling it to someone in romania.....no idea what it was putting out.....

although i didn't really see a whole lot of difference in beam brightness......you could really tell a difference in it's ability to burn....

I have stock! Just let me know...

Also, I have acquired a discount on the lenses. $5 dollars less. So I have dropped my price for the modification by $5 dollars! :)
