Here is a pic of my Sony 16X DVD Red running at 150ma, the 803T up and running @ 80ma and the DX 30mw Green. I tried a highlighter but it was really old. THen I tried blueing for clothes it didn't fluoresce but did show the beams. Then I painted with it on some GITD stars and plastic thingies you stick to the wall. See if you can spot what is printed on the paper underneath the GITD stuff!

I did almost blow it. I did a great job extracting and mounting into the Aixiz module then tested before screwing on the base. I am using a RCKSTR module for current regulation. I carefully screwed the base on and no joy. Also no current draw from my power supply. I let it sit for a while them unscrewed it and fount the ground trace lifted from the board the went to the ground pin of the diode. I reattached and am planning on not using the base. I am going to get a host tomorrow and put both the red and UV into one case. Oh yea, and get a can of GITD paint...

Put a little youtube together for all of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_kKr4IgO38

This Forum ROCKS!!!! And thanks to all who helped me along the way

I am pretty sure it's worse and more expensive than heroin. Probably not as damaging, but thats beside the point. Good job on the first BR build!

Well here is my host. Little different than most people on the forum. I have 4 AA's for the Red and a 9 volt for the UV. I also got a beam shot of the 803T diode shining through water with  a fluorescent yellow highlighter swirled in the water for about 20 seconds. Simply awesome!

Y'all make me crazy! Now I've got to go out to the garage and see what kinds of glass jars are available. I already shine it through my lava lamp :-[

Peace,
