ghetto PHR in it's host before death

I was browsing through some video I made and found one of the ghetto phr 803t right before it died it was a pretty good burner as you may see (good burner for me anyways some of you may have much better blu-rays that put mine to shame but I'm proud of it anyways)

I cut some of the wire off and re-soldered the diode back onto the driver board to make it fit into the old host
as you can see ever though I was moving it around a bit it still burned pretty well

Hey - that duck was given to you so you could see the Glow in the dark effects, not so you could burn it :'(

it burns when I pointed at it :'( even when the blu-ray was a bit unfocused...now it's dead and I'm on my...4th phr 803t laser....none of my blu-rays have lasted more than a month.... :'( maybe I should just buy a 6x completed from igort when I get the money....it might last longer :-/

lol i was playing with some ducks with my green laser in the nearby pond. it was really funny, one of them actually tried to poke the dot with it's beak, it chased it in the water and kept attacking the dot with it's beak. ;D

Thats the basis of my argument.  That no matter what anybody says, I KNOW they weren't meant to be pushed so far.  That's why I built a few 70mW lasers that I know will last, although turning up the pot is very simple, replacing your diode is too, right?  :-/
