Focusable 200mW 405nm Burns Match + Money Detector Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Pen

I am back on the forum! I had some scool issues i didnt pass the 9th grade

but my dad say i can buy a laser

and it is this one:Focusable 200mW 405nm Burns Match + Money Detector Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Pen (2*CR2) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

it is blue and i saw some video`s on youtube and it looks good to my.

and BTW i live in the netherlands in europe i also wanted to buy the cr2 battery charger doesh anyone knows where i could get one of those that fits in my plug connection.

Its not blue, its violet.

Its a cheapo laser, but for under $25 its OK.

It will not be anywhere near 200mW... closer to <100mW...IMO
In my experience... you get what you pay for...

If you're still thinking about getting this model, I'll chime in because I have this same laser pointer.

With my LPM the unit tests between 55mW - 60mW output power.
Anyway I got mine from Price Angels for about the same price as on DX.
I wish I had saved a little longer and bought something with more power, but this unit is ok.
It's fun to "draw" on a board I painted with glow in the dark paint....

I bought this same model, and burn things is pretty good, but can not get decent beam, at 60 feet the dot has 1 meter diameter. And it's almost impossible to see it at more than 90 feet.
Is this normal?

@ ic32k. Did you get the olike 250mw red. It has a focus ring on it.

No, i have the Focusable 200mW 405nm Burns Match + Money Detector Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser that have a ring so, but it's almost impossible to focus to infinnity (if the ring has 360 degrees, to pass between next focus and flashlight i only have to turn the ring 1 or 2 degrees)

I have a green 200mw (easy to focus), and 200mw red (easy to focus), and 1000mw blue one

But nothing to do with the violet one...

EDIT: I just make the pot mod and I must say that the difference is awesome... doing it carefully (marking the pot with ultra-fine marker, to be able to undo the changes and to know how much i turned the pot (next to nothing at left, if the tutos says 45º i turned it 40º...) I hope not to overload it, let's see how long it continues working well...
