I have never used a Flex Drive for any of my lasers so I have a few questions. If I am powering a 803T blu-ray what is the min voltage it will run on? I have read the specs on the order page but I am just curious of your experiences. I wanna make a ledlight pen laser so I wanna know if it will run properly off 3v? Also is it easy to shove into a Aixiz module?

My blu-ray laser right now is nothing fancy. Since is sporting a Rkcstr driver it needs a juicy 9v to run. I don't know of any hosts that use 9v. :(

What are some good sleek hosts you guys have made for your blu-ray lasers? I am considering a 5mW greenie from DX as a housing.

Thanx

Hi, the FlexDrive will run your blu-ray diode with any supply between 2.5 to 5.5 volts...

It can be trimmed to fit inside a leadlight easily. I believe it can also be trimmed to fit inside an AixiZ module. I would imagine that would be a tight fit.

With this supply voltage range, you can use almost any host! Here are a couple of my favorite hosts:
