Hi, so I just ordered the parts for my first build, and i wanted to see if this sounded good with everyone, or if anyone had any suggestions. I bought a PHR-803 diode and a Flexdrive preset at 110 ma, and an Aixiz module. I bought a heatsink from Jayrob also, and plan to power it with a 9V battery, or eventually maybe some rechargable lithium ones. Thanks for the feedback and I'll post pics once its done

is the heatsink for the aixiz module or the flexdrive? With it running on a 9V you may want to consider a small heatsink for the flexdrive so that it doesn't have to try and dissipate the heat resulting from the remaining volts. Alternatively you could probably mount it on the heatsink for the Aixiz Module(I assume that is what it is for) but make sure that it is electrically isolated from the heatsink so that you don't short out the diode.

Looking forward to the pics! Are you planning to use it as a handheld or labby?

The heatsink is for the aixiz, and I was planning on connecting the diode directly to the driver and putting all of that into the Aixiz module, and then mounting the whole module in the heatsink. And this will be a handheld
