Long ago I was on this forum and I remember seeing someone was selling adjustable laser diodes with a circuit (that he would pre-adjust to the mw ratings) and send it to you for I think around $20...If you know what I'm talking about, does it still exist?

I remember at that time I was told a bluray diode could sting skin even at 25ft with an adjustable module..What wattage do you need to be able to have that power?

405nm 150mw burning blu-ray laser diode. USA 3 day Ship - eBay (item 270548297238 end time Mar-26-10 18:14:23 PDT)

Was a diode I saw, Wasnt sure what all 150mw can do, or if its good. Feedback would be nice :)

Dont even bother with this guy. He just sells PHR-803T's just buy the diodes in the sled or from Daguin for like 10 bucks each. or 15 if you want it housed.

PHR's are about 100 mws when powered up to 100mA's which you can burn some stuff with...

if you want to get the popular 6x blu-ray laser diode which is about 196mw's at 200 mA but its around 50 dollars.

I just bought this same thing but it came with a constant current driver. It cost me 40$ on ebay. Its a great laser but in order to burn you have to focus the laser exactly for the distance you want to burn at. If i focus it right with 12 volts i can point the beam and see it go all the way up to the stars.
