Hello everybody.

This is my first post in this Forum.

Does anybody know, whitch power i can handle a 4x bluray burner diode with?
It comes from a Pioneer BDR-202BK burner.

At the moment i am driving with 120ma and a LM317T. (10 ohm resistor)

The cooling is made by a heatsink (2x 3cm) glued directly around the head. Hole in it...
I glued it with Loctite Output 315.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english. (i am german)

You are already running the 4X at a good current. We pushed a few of them higher, but some of them started to fail at 140mA

I would leave it right where you have it.

Is it possible to build with this laser a little "burning toy"?
