I sent the 8x diode to Daguin so he can test it for us ! He is building my 8x as well in a (jayrob) CR2 keychain host with a flex drive set to 365mA and a low loss glass lens it will put out 400mW of POWER NICEEEEE

Well money is not an issue!!!! It was a good learning experience i wont do it again lol and even the pros made mistakes just starting out in the laser hobby
but if you let a few mistakes stop you from doing something you love you will never get anywhere in life.

I used to blow diodes just to see if I still could
I've found that with the aiXiz modules you need to sand three sides of the Rkcstr down a bit to make them fit easily.
I ripped out a $250 diode once because I forgot that the flexdrive will shut down when the voltage gets too low :tinfoil:

you know who dave chappelle is? it was his show on comedy central i think.. he high tailed it out of the country when the cops started lookin for him for some reason. thats why theres no more chappelle show...
