Question of the day XD,


Looking to buy a 150-200mW BluRay but i want it to be visible i have a green and i know green is the most but just wondering how bluray is,

blu-ray is anything but visible at that power level. to get a nice visible beam of BR you would need more power then is available. you can see the beam, at night, if you look right behind it. However, more then a couple feet to the side and you no longer see it. Sorry

My blu-ray's beam is pretty visible at 190mW, can even be (barely) seen in a lighted room looking down the beam from the back of laser, and is very visible in the dark and at night, though i belive my diode may be slightly higher wavelength like 407nm, just had it replaced an is brighter than the first one i had.

Its all in the eyes. Some people see it better than others. My old ~200mW GGW was really bright, and you could see the beam clearly most of the time.
