hey all, I've been outta the "loop" for a little while and have tried to "search" and have browsed but have been unable to find a difinitive answer to this question.

For running off a Single trustfire rechargable cr123 (3.6v) in a dorcy Jr. host, what driver options are there?

I know that obviously the flexdrive is an option. I'm looking at driving this GGW diode at exactly 200ma or slightly lower (no more than 190ma). I've seen a few threads and posts mentioning o-like driver, and rayfoss driver and such, but have not found anything conclusive to determine that any of these drivers are good or not.

So again, what other driver options are out there for me? Maybe this would make a good sticky. Driver choices and their limitations.

I found that the O-Like driver needs >4.2V to deliver current in its higher ranges. 3V seemed to be fine for PHR levels

Peace,

Now that's what I'm talkin bout. Very dissapointing about the other boost drivers. Maybe someone should find a way to modify them so they will work for slightly higher currents.

what about the rayfoss one? I heard if you add a 47nF capacitor at the output it's very decent, specially considering the low price!

i cover that in my post...
and you must remove the stock driver from the dorcy so the spring will touching the battery.
