I SUPPOSE if you mounted the diode on there properly that would work....That driver assumes the case, and the anode (positive) leg are one and hte same, where with most diodes (I am drawing a total blank on the blu-ray diodes) are case negative....

Daedal - I ordered a few of those to try out - hopefully they work out wel, and everyone can storm Digi-key for the remaining stock !

Well... I got the driver board from DigiKey today... this thing is absolutely minuscule! I'm going to be doing some testing on it very soon and will provide updates as they come up...

To give you all an idea... there are some pictures and measurements of this cute little driver :)

Enjoy;

is that the 102A or the 102 (and what's the difference between them?)??
Any thoughts on how well it will drive the red diodes from the group buy??

These things were such a pain to get just right... after several trial-error shots I managed to get a couple clear ones :)

Enjoy;
