Hey Guys,

I was just browsing around the Internet and I found this:

http://www.order-bulk.com/Laser-Lens-HD66-Microsoft-for-Xbox-360.html

Since it is an X-Box 360 sled, I am assuming it has a 405nm diode inside of it. The PHR-803T and DT-0811 sleds are both for the X-Box 360 and both have decent power 405nm diodes, so maybe this one does also. For $7, it is worth a try. Money from my bank is still transferring to my PayPal, but when it is complete I might buy a couple to test. Has anyone seen this sled before or know anything about it?

What's the difference between lens and sled?

Ah. Well If I ever get an X-Box 360 and break it, I'll go to that site. So I'm assuming stock sleds don't have powerful 405nm diodes, if any 405nm diodes at all.

The Xbox 360 does not have a violet diode in it.

ONLY the HD-DVD add-on drive had a violet diode, as would any Blu-Ray add-on drive.

Oh. I thought that the X-Box 360 came out of the factory capable of playing Blu-Ray/HD-DVD. In fact, I thought that that was the kind of disc most games for the 360 were written on... you learn something new every day!

Not much, many Chinese call the sleds "laser lens". Technically the lens is just the optics focusing part of the sled but not many Chinese (or people in general) understand everything in the sleds.

Oh that explains why Jack from JinPeng lasers kept on his sleds "lenses". It threw me off for awhile.
