To calculate the divergence, you need to know the diameter of the beam at the apperture, and the diameter of the beam at a certain distance.
The further away you measure, the better, because it will reduce the mistakes you make.
One data point is not enough.
4mm is great, it means it is well focused. The dot is hardly larger than the beam diameter. But it's a diode laser, and these are not as hard to focus as DPSS lasers.
