I remember mentioning a few weeks ago that the Blueray as we know it is going to change to a much much higher data density.
well, there is a nice article about Fujifilm and the development of 1TB disk technology.
Meanwhile Sony and Sumitomo are developing a version of BDXL to rival
Fujifilm....

Could get interesting. Laser technology to be 200nm in this drive.

Fujifilm will introduce 1TB optical disc in 2015)

Wow, this is pretty exciting although I few years off. I'd imagine it would make it to a general consumer drive eventually, or hopefully. Thanks for sharing.

What's really incredible is the use of an external amplifier. Though the pulse will only be pS at well over 100W. (as of 2012)

Does anyone still sell the plain old 405 diodes anymore?
I don'e see any in the BST area. I got stupid tonight
and tried for 500+ mW :-( DEAD diode.........

Nevermind !!!! I remembered that DTR has all sorts of stuff -- Ordered....
