I just thought i'd write my own personal review on this laser I bought off ebay.
It came today and i must say i'm quite impressed for such a cheap laser it was (correction 13.00) including first class shipping. although the beam divergence is terrible it actually emitts some heat. the beam is slightly visible in the night sky so i imagin it is at least 5mW if not slightly more. Overall if you want a cheap blue laser you would probably be satisfied with one from ebay however one from a site like wicked lasers would be most likely much better and probably last longer but hey like i said it was a cheepie.

I wasn't sure but I was looking around a bit I saw a lot for cheaper but with ridiculous shipping prices for standard shipping. I wasn't about to go for that I wanted something quick untill I get my green laser from Rayfoss

You can see the beam at night? Interesting.

Supposedly the eye is more sensitised to 650 than to 405. But a 5mW 650nm beam is invisible.

Or that's what the Wikipedia graph says. The same graph that keeps being dragged up.

Yeah it's very faint you wouldn't see it in a picture but I see it in my pitch black room and I think it had to do with my room having slot of dust particles in the air. Haha

Ok then that would explain how it seems over 5mW judging by how I can see the beam slightly in my pitch black room :yh: seriously I have no windows. Old house built cheap

Thats good to know i'll definitely looking to buy my next high power laser from them. However i'd really like to build my next one out of one of Jayrobs DIY kits.
