500mW in a pen host. :crackup: what a joke

i wouldn't buy a single thing from DHgate.....too many Chinese scams

It will be more like 5mW, to output 500mW the host would have to be much larger since it would put out around 6W in heat. That pen host would burn your hand if it were 500mW.

It is a problem with a lot of sites, they will put any power on it since they know most people can't measure the output of their lasers.

Best to buy from a reliable company whose lasers are often at the rating they provide.

What do you mean??? But they have a sticker on them that say's >500mW!!! Stickers can't lie!!! LOL

That violet laser will probably put out 30-100mw like most violet laser pointers.

I have a "5mw" violet pointer from qq-tech that I like. It outputs about 50mw.

If you want a 500mw violet at a cheap price, I would go with lazerer or laserbtb.
