Has anyone seen the 473nm laser and what it looks like? When I shine my 405nm on the right kind of white surface it looks pure blue. Its then I wonder what the 473 looks like.

I've never seen a 473 but 488 is sky blue.. Nice color. The 405 shows its color by what it hits and causes to light up.

Mario, the two blue dots, what wavelength are they? The one on the right looks like a different color. Also, when speaking about wavelengths........if I say,"it has a shorter wavelength" would that imply a lower number? ie.,405nm is shorter wavelength than 473nm

yes you are right, the dot on the left is 473nm (regular blue), the right is 405nm (bluray)

Frothy, nice picture. Deep speckly blue goodness. 473nm is a true blue, unlike 405nm which is definitely violet, and not blue - at least to my eyes. I wish they had some direct injection diodes close to 470nm that didn't cost a fortune.
