Sorry fellow members, a mistake was made. (eh were all human right?)

Alright now for some facts!

My laser is 419mW (315mA) http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg201/imdguin/IMG_0801.jpg

Just got it today!

Also looking for experiments i can perform with it.

I looked for experiments but just the same ole tape/balloon/match tests.

Looking for unique tests.

I seen another say he member light a match in jar with flammable gas and made it blow it. (gotta try it)

600mW out of an 8X is un heard of. Dont expect it to live more then a few mins, the max for these is 500mW IIRC and thoes only live like 2 hrs

Hmm, well i would hope not! Mabye i was misinformed.

I do have a really nice heatsink, and its using a flexdrive.

This misunderstanding is totally on my shoulders. I sent my PM to the wrong person. :yabbem:

The 8X is NOT putting out 600mW.

It WAS exciting for a bit though, eh? :whistle:

LOL we all make mistakes. What was the real output? I know an 8X was not at 600mW

I think the mix up was with my laser right Dave?

The 600mW laser is one that daguin built for me out of a 12x at 425mA.

Anyways, be careful and have fun with the new 8x.

Ill defenitlly have to be careful. I was already hit with a direct beam in the eye with my old 240mw and it was a scare.

Ill have to really be careful till dragon lasers ponys up my safety glasses. Till then im playing on dangerous grounds.
