So I received my bits from Flaminpyro yesterday and so I put together these 2 405nm lasers. A BDR S06J 12x in a green Kryton groove host and a PHR 803T in a Aurora C6 host

I'll let the images do the talking

PHR 803t in Aurora C3 host. I was polishing this host to give it a 2 toned look like I saw Lazeerer was selling recently

Cool, now I'm a hand model and laser builder!

In hindsight we could have just set it up on the table for more stability haha. but yes excellent work as a hand model and eve more excellent work as a laser builder! Thanks!

What adrian did was get some prototype board and cut it into the shape of the host, then attach a wire to the middle of the board by using a solder blob. Then feed this through the battery end and glue it (jbweld or superglue or hot glue gun) to the kryton.
The only down side of this is that I found that protected 18650s don't fit in any more =( but no biggie. So if you trust your gluing then you can probably feed it from the top and stick it down that way. Just make sure the solder blob is big enough to reach the other side of the recess but not too wide to touch the host.

I'll put up a pick when I get home. Hope what I wrote makes sense haha
Credits to Adrian. <---- Amazing guy

Edit: pics up. Also whoops, broke the wire from driver to contact... Will need to fix this. Maybe use some more flexible wire as this stuff is pretty stiff

LOL trust you to break it off. You need to be very gentle with it...

The easiest way is to glue the pill on the inside of the lip as shown here. If you are using protected cells you can glue the pill to the outer side of the lip (side closer to the driver/laser).

I was contemplating swapping out that wire with some Flaminpyro's wire but was a bit struck for time. When I repair this laser I'll take pictures along the way.

=D yes and the funny thing about that was I was doing it to show off your work =P but yes I'll take some pics when you repair it and maybe we'll glue it on the top so i can use my protected cells

Here is how the driver is supposed to be connected to the battery positive.
