Blu-Ray is on the very edge of the visible spectrum for human beings, even at night you won't be able to see much of a beam, and any visible beam in daylight will be several watts, probably more.

so the best bet to see a beam in daylight would be a green laser pointer correct??

I'm not aware of any portable where the beam is visible in daylight. Brightly lit room, maybe, but not broad daylight. Yes, greens have the brightest beam per unit power.

It would be a watt or so of green, yes. In direct sunlight outside? You're probably looking at 5-6W or so, probably more.

I shot this video a few days ago it was raining all night and when i woke up in the morning it was not raining but was still cloudy out. I wanted to see if my 1167mW laser would be visible in these conditions. There was also moister in the air i believe.

Watch in HD if Possible.:)

So as you can see the beam is visible but if it wasn't cloudy and no moister in the air or sunny out the beam would be invisible to the eye. At least at 1167mW.:)

If you want to see a beam during the day time with one of your lasers try doing it in these type of condition in the video. I do not have a high powered Green laser to answer your question but if i were to guess i would say a 200mW-300mW minimum of Real Green laser would be visible in these condition as well.

I tried that same day to see the beam on my 493mW 405nm laser and i could not see the beam. Out of all the lasers in my signature the 445nm one was the only one visible and again only because of the conditions of the weather was that possible with 1.16 Watts.:)

Well I had ordered the same thing and I could not see the beam, but that is all explained above. Unfortunately, it only last that first day and I will be returning it. Hopefully you don't have the same problem.
