I do not know the total hours on. I will tell you that it has been my daily carry around laser ever since it has been built and I have used it a lot. I am sorry I do not have any quantitative estimate as to the total on time.

has any one here ever thought to sell their led lasers?
i had a red laser blow on me but it still produced a spot but it was about 1/5 what it was but hey maybe good for someone who wants an extremely low powered laser or just something to test and see how to do things.

How did you remove your cap twice? you took it off already!
And what at least if it died instead of trashing it maybe make 5-10$.
You could at least then brag you have a 12x laser.
hehehe, just not a living one... but you would have one.

For Sale: Zombie 12X -- putting out 27mW at 600mA. Good as a lecture pointer (if you don't mind replacing the batteries every couple of days or it heating up in your hand) :whistle:

Got one to add :D

Diode out of PX-B940SA, Jayrob Pocket Mini Host, Micro Boost Drive v1 set to 460mA, UltraFire 3.7V 1000mAh CR123A and 405-G-1 putting out 668mW :)

Edit: Just saw this, look at the beam when its on the red wall and then on the white one :)

The next victim has arrived!!! It is now in the Chrome mini. IT LIVES!!!! I am very happy to announce the Chrome mini is alive and well once again. The output is now 840mW with the same current. (different 405-G-1 thought)

You have a thing for that specific current setting, huh... well, you know what they say, no guts, no glory... :D

Different 405-G-1...? What happened to the original, did it disintegrate when your first 12x had its meltdown? ... :crackup:

I used the old one in my 12X pen and bought a new one from Jayrob. Yeah I feel that 600mA is a good current to give the laser a nice long life. I'm not a fan of over driving my lasers.
