Hey,

I just brought a brand new mohgasm 1.8A driver.

I just got it and started the laser up and it doesn't work. The batteries are charged. And The diode can't be fried. How can I check if the wires and the batteries are working?

Your information of the problem is very limited.
Asked the seller of the Mohgasm driver some support. You need TWO li-ion batteries to use the driver.

I have two 16340 batteries, and 1 18350. they don't don't work.

What brand batteries do you have? They may not be able to handle the high current draw

Pictures would definitely be helpful. Is it installed in a host? and did you make sure there is a contact to go from the outer ring to the host.?

It's all installed. I don't see how pictures could help as it is just a c6 host.

We need to see how you did the wirings.
The C6 host works perfectly with the Mohgasm driver and the 445nm diode.

Mohgasm driver = Established driver
M140 = Established diode
C6 = Established host.

We need pictures to see what YOU have done wrong.

If you dont want to post pictures (to help US to help YOU) , be on your way and dont let the door hit you on the way out.

Where is the brass ring that comes with the host? That needs to go around your driver and be pressed into the aluminum pill, and then you can solder with the outer ring, or the LD- pad to the brass ring to get your battery - power. This is most likely the problem and why it's not powering up.

Essentially, that outer ring on the driver need to make contact with the driver pill.

Also be sure to heat shrink those diode wires if you just solder them together.
