Yed another newby

Hello,

My name is Ron from the Netherlands.
After having some lower powered lasers I decided to go for something that could scare away birds during fishing, so went for the 5 watt spiker from sanwu lasers. And boy was I impressed, works very well!
And saves me a load of bait.

Anyways, I hope to suck up more knowledge for lasers.

Welcome Ron! A 5 watt Spiker, they don't get much better than that. Be careful with that unit she can put an eye out quicker than you or someone else can blink. Hoping you did get some safety glasses with that monster? She does throw one heck of a beam doesn't she? Well welcome and be safe and enjoy your Spiker.

A 5 Watt Laser to scare off birds is not a good
idea.

You could easily blind the birds making it
impossible for them to find food and die....
rather than just scaring them off.

I don't like to hear of people using lasers on animals or people. It can get you in a lot of trouble depending on the laws where you are. Try to use lasers safely and enjoy your stay here.

I love animals, but if they find my bait they will also find the bait with a hook attached witch they swallow so that isn't good either.
And here I read this that farmers use lasers, that they aren't the same lasers I understand, but that's where I got the idea from.

If you don't know anything about fishing in shallow waters, and carp fishing here don't say anything, you don't know anything about fishing situations here.
