My name is Troy. I built my first laser 3 or 4 years ago not really sure when exactly. Ive read many of the forums from this website and learned alot from many of the members. Thought I would finally share a couple from my collection. These are both 1w 445nm. The 501b is the first laser I ever built. I purchased the heat-sink from Ebay and I believe the seller is a member of this forum although I cant remember his name right off. The other is a lightsaber style housing machined from aluminum and brass. The individual pics of this laser were taken before the electronics were added. Laser safety goggles are always a good thing to have around so I tossed them in the pic for good measure.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Some glowing o-rings would be pretty sweet. Extra lights make stuff pop. Btw if you looked at my bio I don't have 4 kids I have 2. Not really sure why I hit 4. Probobly because its early morning were I'm at and I'm supposed to be asleep...

Thanks much! Its a more recent one and I was very pleased with how it turned out. The feel of it is nice to. Very sturdy and heavy in the hand. Definatly one of my favorites. Well anyways thanks again for the welcomes. Ill probobly post more of my work in the proper places I just figured the welcome boards was the perfect place for my first post.
