A "Servus" from Bavaria

Servus to all here on the forum.
"Servus" is for hello and goodbye here in bavaria, known for its great octoberfest.

I studied Physics and work now as a development engineer.
I was addicted to lasers since i first saw these little red pointers when i was four.

I own a Laser Safety Officer Certification I got during my industrial placement in Laserlaboratory. Now that i have a good income I can spend some time and of course money in laserprojects.

I learned much in this forum and its a good way to keep up to date on lasernews. Maybe i can share some of my experiences here to help others.

Welcome! This place could surely do well with input from anyone with real laser safety training. There are lots of really good people here and TONS of cool laser-related stuff in general. Enjoy!

Unfortunately this laserlaboratory can't offer much anymore. I lost the contact after my industrial placement, about 4 years ago.
But you never forget what you learn if you learn it in practical experiments.

I still have most of the documents, but i din't take a look at them for years^^

Servus... nice to find people on the forum who are from the same country. But in your case, even from the same town!:wave:
