Hey guys. been into these badass things for a couple months now. was buying my kid a laser and realized....i want a god damn laser too. anyway...im hooked. on to the question. i recently purchased a 3w from lucklaser (believe me ive seen the negative reviews, altho not until after purchase) and im actually pretty satisfied. if it isnt 3 watts its very very close and for 150$....ill take it. BEAR WITH ME...the only problem i have is the beam doesnt focus down to well at a distance and im wondering if there is an additional piece i can get to better dial it in. lenses, magnifier...anything really.
i apologize if this is in violation of your guys etiquette and any help would be greatly appreciated -Perry-

Welcome,

Use the search bar at the bottom of the page to search for "Beam Expander" - that'll increase the beam diameter in the near field but reduce it to an extent in the far field. Unfortunately there's only so much you can do, these high power blue lasers have terrible beam characteristics so you'll always end up with a fairly nasty beam at any sort of distance, even with a beam expander.

I will yeah. I don't have a LPM and I don't have much experience with the finer details but I'll stick to what I know and we'll get it up there.
