Hey, Nice to meet you all.
I'm a newbie with 2 532nm lasers between 20-60 mw
I'm hoping to get a 445nm laser soon and Im looking for places in New Zealand where I can buy one, another option is building one, I've got some experience in soldering electronics, would you reccomend building one or just buying?
any price difference?

I've been to New Zealand before, both the north & south island. You live in a beautiful country & giant weta bugs scare the hell out of me!

Your best bet on buying a quality laser is right here on this forum. You should also make sure to get a pair of safety goggles suitable for a 445nm laser. Search the B/S/T section to see what's available from different sellers & feel free to look at the Feedback section on anyone you find available or that you're interested in buying from. Aside that, welcome to LPF!

Lasersbee, cant always read all the intros right?
I need to read around the forum, research and increase my post count before I can buy from here right?, so Ill start here. :)

that's not really the idea, most members here sell to people who are 18+ and require photo ID, and know all about laser safety :)

that way they don't sell to someone who is going to be stupid and shine lasers are people and or hurt them selves or someone else :)

Welcome mate, where are you from? I'm from the Waikato.

Your best chance with lasers is here, as it's been said. TradeMe is full of the Chinese ones which are less than the displayed power, blast out a lot of IR and are overpriced, simply because they're being imported plus sold on for a profit.

Spend some time to read the Rules and Stickies, be nice as us Kiwis are and you'll have an enjoyable stay. Lase responsibly.
