hey I just joined the form after ordering a 200mw laser from laserman.com after doing some research I was kinda worried, I guess I will wait and see it it arrives.

Im only on a few other forums for sportbikes to motorbicycles. Now this is an awesome forum with alot of good diy info.

a little over a year ago I bought a 150mw laser pointer from china ebay and it was awesome, it broke though, the solders cam apart where the diode connects to the green chip?

maybe I can figure out how to fix it here. I have never been good with electrical stuff, first I will have to suck up all the bad solder Ive already put on there.

Welcome! I ride an 03 Honda 919 (hornet) with 33,000mi, had it since 05. Laserman is all over the place in service and product quality but they usually get you your stuff. Laser diodes dont like a lot of heat so be quick with your soldering. Read up and be safe:wave:

It's a plus if your glasses for green also protect for 808 and 1064 because all 3 wavelenghts are present in them. The IR is usually on the lower end and not completely focused. If green laser stops working and just puts out dim red, That's the high powered IR coming straight through so don't get blasted.

I've put a lot of hours on an sv650, they are super nimble bikes!
