I’ve been reading through this site for about 3 weeks now and really enjoy all the information it has. I got interested in lasers years ago but could never find a site with this much helpful information.
I’ve all ready led’d a phr with my first diy ddl driver with no heatsink. I would relate it to going to the strip club. I was like yeah this is going to be awesome..then wow purple..then I was out $10.
I’m in it to win it now with a more supplies on the way.
I’m 25 and now that I have a 1 year old son I’m not allowed to go out and do crazy stuff anymore, so I figure doing some somewhat dangerous stuff indoors with lasers is a good swap.
Thanks for all the help I’ve already gotten from this site

Welcome to the forum.

Although lasers are indeed dangerous, it doesn't mean you can't be careful. Be careful with your eyesight and get yourself some goggles when you work with powerful lasers, just a brief reflection on a shiny object from a 250 mW violet laser might be enough to do some permanent damage, and as other members say on this forum, you only have a pair of eyes and there are no replacement parts for retinas so far.

Keep us posted on your projects! :D

I ordered the laserdiy.com parts and never got them, then I found this site.
rat bastards,$75 down the drain.. I bought enough parts for 5 ddl's and 5 phr's for that same price now, minus the aixis's. And my phr's arrive in 2 days

good lord 75 bucks. i havent even spent that much on a single laser let alone a part to a laser, if you want some parts let me know I know where to go but dont want people to assume I am spamming. reputable dealer I know well. (everything for a 150mw 405 laser for under 40$) you will need to make your own case for it though.
